What do I do if I forget my password?

  • Click on the 'I have forgotten my username and password' link at www.gplearning.com.au. You will be redirected to the RACGP website. Enter your email address & press the 'Look up' button.
  • A message will pop up on the screen, Click OK.
  • Check your email. You will receive an email from 'web.admin@racgp.org.au'
  • Click on the 'Reset my password' link in the email
  • A webpage will open, enter your details in the boxes provided and click the submit button
  • Click the OK button.

Note: If your e-mail program does not accept HTML, cut and paste the link into your web browser.

Are popups required and how do I allow them?

Yes the new gplearning site utilises pop up windows to assist with your learning. For this reason you must set your browser to allow popups for the following sites.

To enable popups in your browser, or other common software programs that may block them, please follow this guide.

How do I find an online course?

Once you are logged into gplearning you will be shown your logged on 'home' page as known as Learner's Home Page as shown below.

From this screen you can locate courses using a variety of methods which include:

  • Click on the Catalogue button as shown below to locate online courses only
  • Click on the Search menu option on the top right hand side of the window to locate online courses only
  • Click on Search in the Search box on the left hand side of the window to locate face to face courses approved for QA&CPD

How do I get back to my learners home page when in gplearning?

From any logged on page within gplearning you can click on the 'house' icon at the top of the screen to take you home.

Can you explain the new look learners home page?

The new look home page for a logged on learner is shown below.

The key features are:

  • less clutter
  • large buttons to access key features, such as PDViewer
  • new facility to monitor/track your education - PDViewer
  • ability to customise your home page
  • single username/password for gplearning and the college website
  • access to online resources from the one screen/area
  • ability to update contact details, such as email and phone number from either site (gplearning or RACGP)

Note. For Mac users, it is recommended that you use Firefox as the default browser to use gplearning as other browser's like Safari may not be compatible.

Multimedia Requirements

Some of the activities on the gplearning web site use video and audio. Video and audio is delivered in two different formats:

Windows Media Player version 7 or later

You may also need Adobe reader and speakers

Important Information About Multimedia gplearning

Activities where audio and video are used are noted in the details for each activity in the gplearning catalogue.

Your Internet browser will automatically detect your Internet connection speed and provide you with the video file most suited to your connection speed. There may be a delay while files download especially at slow Internet speeds.

Text transcripts are provided for video and audio files for subscribers on very slow Internet connections.
